License Agreement

This License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of the Lusus WordPress plugin (“the Plugin”, “the Software”) provided by Antonello Zaccaria (“we”, “us”, “the Author”). By purchasing, installing or using the Plugin you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

• Plugin — the Lusus software, including its code, bundled assets, updates and documentation.
• License — the commercial license granted to you on purchase, managed through Freemius.
• Site — a single live WordPress installation (domain) on which the Plugin is activated.

2. License grant

Upon a valid purchase we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Plugin on the number of Sites included in your plan (by default one (1) Site, unless your plan states otherwise). The Plugin’s PHP source code is additionally licensed under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later (GPL-2.0+), as required for WordPress plugins.

3. Plans, updates & support

• Annual — automatic updates and support while your subscription is active. Cancelling stops future updates and support, but the Plugin keeps working.
• Lifetime — a single payment granting perpetual updates for the licensed Site(s).

Updates and support are delivered through Freemius and your WordPress dashboard while your license is valid.

4. Permitted use

You may use, configure and modify the Plugin for your own Site(s) consistent with the GPL, and create or export/import style presets across your own Sites.

5. Restrictions

• You may not resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute your license key or paid access.
• Premium updates and support are tied to a valid, active license.
• You may not misrepresent the origin of the Plugin or remove author/licensing notices in a way that breaches these commercial terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Plugin and its original assets remain the intellectual property of the Author. The GPL applies to the PHP code as stated above; bundled images, branding and the “Lusus” name remain the Author’s property and are not transferred to you.

7. Third-party components

The Plugin bundles or relies on third-party software, including Three.js (3D engine, bundled locally) and Freemius (licensing & payments). Their respective licenses and terms apply to those components.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

The Plugin is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Always back up your site before installing or updating.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from the use of or inability to use the Plugin.

10. Term & termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated, and terminates automatically if you breach its terms. Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund Policy.

11. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
